Sergard TL-5 MDS Barriers are a high performance aesthetically engineered  road and bridge rail System designed for both new and existing bridge rehabilitation projects and road workzones. Modular design facilitates assembly for permanent installations and can be easily installed and relocated for temporary installations. Developed specifically for bridges due to its light weight and high impact TL-5 protection. The key is the barrier design incorporating Progressive SRS technology.

NOISE & VISUAL PROTECTION

Sergard MDS^® BARRIERS are pre-designed to integrate noise-protection sound barriers and site walls within a single barrier system providing considerable savings in terms of occupied space, supporting substructures and overall cost. The special backward positioning of the noise-protection barrier requires less lateral space on the bridge deck and also makes the disposal of snow easier when exposed to freezing climates.

With the ever increasing bridge rehabilitation projects emerging, the need for a light weight, high performance, easy to install TL4 and TL5 barrier for work zone safety has been a challenge. Sergard MDS^® BARRIERS have been developed to provide the highest level of protection allowing job sites to start and end faster. The design simplicity of SRS anchoring system has no exposed plates or bolts that extend out from the barrier eliminating snagging especially in snow removing environments.
